Client Details

Based in the Bristol region, around the North side of Bristol, this accountancy practice has doubled in size over the last 10 years or so and the partners and looking to plan for the future development and direction of the firm as a result of both this growth and the need to plan for succession. The firm acts around 400 limited company clients, 900 personal and partnership tax returns and a very wide ranging client base across this in industry and turnover. The firm clients vary widely in size and complexity - largest clients are up to £25million in turnover. The firm has a lot of growth focused, interesting clients, across the spectrum in turnover and size and deals with all sort of industry sectors.

Description

Joining as a Senior Manager / Director - leading to Equity Partner, you will manage a team, providing services to your client portfolio, as well as taking a hands on role with more complex clients and project work, with responsibility for the hands on delivery of varied general practice services delivery, to a very varied and mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, moulded around your background and preferences in turnover size and range of services. You will build relationships with your clients and advise on planning and advisory work, across a range of accounting and tax issues, The portfolio can be moulded to some degree to suit a sub audit threshold focused portfolio, focusing on clients under the audit threshold in turnover. Equally, for candidates with audit skills, open to an element of this service delivery, your portfolio may contain an a proportion of the firms larger corporate, all open to exploration and fit around the right individual. You will look to further develop your client base, with added value services and look to develop new business and play a key role in the further growth and future development of the practice. You will and be looking for an opportunity with investment potential and progression to partnership on offer, within an independent accounting firm environment.

Profile

To be suitable for this Senior Manager / Director - leading to Equity Partner role, you will be ACA, ACCA qualified with a strong background in accountancy practice. You will have skills managing a portfolio of mixed clients of growing, profitable limited companies and OMBs up to, and/or over the audit threshold, with a mix of technical skills across any of audit, accounts, tax and advisory work. You will be a manager or senior manager looking to step up into a partner level role with equity and be able to demonstrate the skills required with business development and relationship building skills, along with looking to invest in thee right opportunity over time.

Job Offer

Circa £40,000 - £50,000 , dependent on experience and background.
