My client is a building and construction company based in Hertford. They specialise in power, construction, telecommunications and other industries. They are looking for a payroll officer on a temporary basis to join their busy team and help with the growing workload.
The responsibilities of the payroll officer include:
Processing of company payrolls on a monthly basis
Year end preparation
Reconciliations of payroll
Ad hoc duties
Monthly reporting for the finance director
The successful candidate will:
have excellent excel skills (v lookups and pivot tables)
be hardworking and ready to hit the ground running
have at least 2 years experience in payroll
Parking on site
