Bookkeeper and Admin Assistant

Salary £18,000 - £24000
The Burford Recruitment Company are working with a well respected leisure and hospitality business in Chipping Norton to find a Admin Assistant / Bookkeeper to Join their busy team.
While the role mainly focuses on tasks associated with a traditional bookkeeper role, due to the size of the business the successful applicant will also be required to complete other administrative tasks.
You will need to be competent in the use of Sage Payroll, Xero and Microsoft Excel
Main duties will include:
Finance / Bookkeeper tasks:
* Bank reconciliation
* Processing both purchase and sales ledger invoices.
* General Ledger maintenance
* Payment runs
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Weekly and monthly payroll to include pensions
* Produce monthly management accounts
* Producing and liaising with our accountants for year end accounts
Other Tasks:
* HR Admin
* Creating Rotas
* Managing some of the Health and Safety accounts
* Assisting with general office duties and be able to take bookings, payments etc through our Booking System.
Please note due to the rural location, a driving licence will be required.
