Risk Assurance Analyst

The resource would join the team to provide support to the delivery and development of our client's Third Party Supplier assurance strategy. The role will require the ability to work closely with third party suppliers to identify potential risk exposures and required risk mitigation actions within the guidelines of the assurance policy. It will also require the successful candidate to provide support in organising and planning all assurance activities.

KEY DELIVERABLES

* Engage with third party suppliers and supplier managers to organise the end to end assurance reviews, book dates, share scope requirements, facilitate calls, prepare planning documentation and handover documentation to assessors, ensure materiality of findings agreed, issue assurance reports to stakeholders

* Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships with business/specialist areas to facilitate delivery of the assurance plan.

* Develop and maintain relationship with external assurance partner

* Initiate and deliver agreed initiatives to achieve continuous improvement and keep things simple.

* Apply the supplier assurance methodology in order to meet audit requirements.

TOP SKILLS REQUIRED

- Exposure to risk analysis. The successful candidate will need to have an understanding of business and operational risk analysis, which will be necessary in order to be able to lead conversations with third parties and understand their requirements

- Stakeholder management. As the role will require liaising with several internal and external parties, the ideal candidate will need to have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

- Organisational skills. The ideal candidate will need to plan, organise and facilitate calls, workshops, meetings and will need to keep track of progress made and outstanding actions.
