Credit Controller
Salary: up to £25k

A successful manufacturing business based in Accrington are relocating their credit control function to Stockport, Cheshire in the summer. The first 4-6 weeks of this role will be based in Accrington where full expenses will be paid for, during the training period before the full time permanent role begins in the Stockport office.

You will be responsible for:
- Managing over 400 live accounts
- Posting cash receipts to customer accounts - allocating and reconciling alongside settlement discounts in various currencies
- Identifying short payments and dealing with queries surrounding those
- Resolving all queries quickly and efficiently to maximise cash flow to company
- Generating and posting of collection letters and alerting customers to overdue payments
- Processing payments via company system in various currencies
- Reviewing monthly debtor balances with team and Line Manager
- Implementing and understanding credit insurance policy, requesting credit limits
- Assisting with month end sales ledger close down and generating debtors reports
