Credit Risk Analysts in Aldermore's Risk department play a key role in ensuring we balance our growth with robust risk management and controls, supported by effective governance, policies and procedures. Whether working in Compliance; Operational Risk; Enterprise Risk; Credit Risk; Financial Crime; Retail or Business Finance Risk, everyone helps to implement and embed a risk management ethos and culture that ensures our customers are treated fairly whilst supporting our business model and strategic priorities. The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Group Risk team in Wilmslow as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst. Within this role you will be responsible for the development and provision of meaningful insight and analysis across the bank.

The Credit Risk team are very dynamic, with a great culture, if you like working in a fast-paced environment this is the role for you.

The Senior Credit Risk Analyst is also responsible for supporting the maintenance, development and enhancement of the regular reporting routines and to identify opportunities and mitigate risk/loss in order to enhance the overall profitability of the business, along with ensuring that regulatory reporting submission data is accurate.

Experience required
  • Excellent working knowledge of SAS, SQL, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Direct and recent experience of credit risk related matters including data mining and analytical and/or scoring techniques.
  • Knowledge of Credit Risk decisioning systems and originations and in-life servicing processes
  • A detailed knowledge of mortgages
  • A working knowledge of Tableau is desirable
  • Highly numerate and analytical, with an aptitude for problem solving
