Temporary Management Accountant job opportunity until June 2019

Hays Senior Finance is recruiting for a high profile organisation based in Dundee. Working in a large and complex organisation, this is a rare opportunity to take on a temporary role until summer 2019 due to cover for secondments to internal projects. You will enjoy working in a diverse and dynamic environment within a well-established team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will provide management accounting support to several departments, liaising closely with budget holders to prepare annual budgets and provide financial support including variance analysis. You will be responsible for the production of management accounts including the preparation of month-end and year-end entries such accruals and journals. You will support the creation of finance business plans and undertake accounts preparation for subsidiary businesses.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Accountant with experience working in sizeable organisations. You will have strong management accounting and budgeting experience and will have excellent communication skills. You will have strong IT skills, particularly using Microsoft Excel and you will have a pro-active and hands-on approach to your work. You will have sound technical accounting skills and an ability to work closely with non-finance professionals.
