Operational Risk Manager - London

We are looking to expand our Operational Risk team within our Risk Advisory practice. You will contribute to the delivery of high profile and complex risk engagements across a wide range of financial services clients. Working closely with colleagues across our EMEIA practice in multidisciplinary engagements, you will help our major global clients transform and evolve their approaches to operational risk management.

Your contribution will play a significant part in helping our clients deliver successful outcomes covering a range of risk projects driven by internal transformation or the regulatory change agenda. You will work to support clients through the full life cycle of delivery, from Programme Strategy through Solution Design to Implementation.

To qualify for the role you must have:
  • Experience of working within operational risk management with an understanding of the practical challenges facing firms
  • Working knowledge of applicable regulatory framework with a strategic perspective
  • Working knowledge of current and forthcoming regulation impacting firms, with a focus on what this means for the CRO agenda
  • A demonstrable track record of delivery within complex and time pressured environment
  • A broad understanding of the range of risk types across the enterprise

Ideally, you'll also have
  • A good range of influencing skills
  • A constructive and action focussed approach
  • Experience working in a client facing professional services environment
  • An ability to guide and coach team members to help them develop their EY career
  • Experience of operating in a project based environment
