Treasury VP - Leading Bank - London - Contract

A leading bank are looking for a treasury markets risk & control VP to join their London office on an initial 6 month contract.

The successful candidate will be designing, building and running the control strategy on behalf of the organisation, implementing and running the markets risk & control self-service framework and performing the annual risk and control self assessment for the business.

Requirements:
  • Experience in controls management
  • Experience in risk management
  • Management/oversight experience
  • Knowledge of trading/risk management systems, operational flows and key control points
  • Banking experience
  • Familiar with the financial regulatory landscape (MiFID, Dodd-Frank, Volker, EMIR etc)
  • Front office trading desk COO/business manager experience
  • Knowledge of treasury
