Description

Define, drive and execute end-to-end process design and implementation efforts across Treasury activities. Position requires close working with subject matter experts and stakeholders within Treasury, across the Finance function and business partners.

Responsibility for process efforts includes regulatory and internal reviews and tracking of relevant regulatory agenda and deliverables.

Treasury Processes span actions and activities within Treasury groups, across global Treasury divisions, Finance functions, infrastructure partners in EI O and T and business partners in ICG and GCB.

Reporting directly to the Citi Treasury Global Process Owner/Transformation Head, the specific areas of responsibility and authority include:

  • Development and implementation ownership of Treasury processes design in line with global Finance transformation standards and initiatives. Examples could include:
    • Process standardization and efficiency within Treasury, or across Treasury and partner groups
    • Implementing organizational design changes and efficiencies in the Treasury structure including location strategy
  • Act as a point of contact for regulators, coordinating activities with respect to reviews, deliverables, and ensuring regulatory expectations are clearly communicated, understood and met
    • Provide oversight of milestones and input to ensure consistent, and timely resolution of deliverables
    • Identify process gaps in framework and implement needed changes

  • Ensure a robust self-assessment framework which entails identifying key controls and ongoing testing and evolution as needed
    • Drive process control framework design, scope, and testing criteria
    • Interface with internal audit on reviews and ensure timely resolution of identified issues

The successful candidate will manage a small team of practitioners focused on supporting the lead.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors required; MBA preferred
  • Broad experience in finance functions, including Treasury is preferred
  • Strong and demonstrated execution skills with a proven track record of operating in a large global business with process transformation including technology integration
  • Proven track record for collaborating and building relationships with regulators and senior leaders
  • Outstanding analytical, strategic and problem solving skills
  • Consultative, with the ability to seek solutions to important business challenges
  • Strong relationship management, partnership and collaboration skills
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, able to build a broad base of support among key decision makers
  • Ability to lead and drive change through creative thinking; thoughtful leader with a vision of the future
  • Strong people leadership skills, including direct, indirect and remote management with the ability to inspire change
  • Ability to manage multiple programs / strategic initiatives simultaneously and prioritize appropriately
