My clients are a fast growth PE backed business looking to bring a newly qualified financial accountant on board to work alongside their successful team.

Description

Job Description - Financial Accountant:

• Preparation of Board Packs and Financial Commentary

• Month-End Consolidation of Group including several overseas subsidiaries

• Monitoring and reconciliations of all Inter-company accounts

• Preparation of statutory accounts and year-end tax packs

• Creation of monthly departmental reports with variance analysis and meetings with departmental heads to review performance against budget and forecast

• Monthly meetings with department heads to review and challenge

• Control of Month-end revaluations and month-end closure of entities

• Set-up control and improve budget and reforecasting models

• Cashflow and Bank Covenants reporting and forecasting

• Reporting to shareholders including Private Equity investors

• Reporting to banks

• Financial Controls and Process review, with implementation of improvements

• Internal Controls manual to be implemented and kept up to date

• Accounting policies review and update

• Hedging policy implementations

• Balance Sheet reviews and reconciliations

• Commercial analysis

• Cover for Financial Controller and Head Office Accountant when absent

• Assisting with annual audit requests and year end process

• Provide support to the Head Office Accountant and Financial Controller and adhoc support to other finance staff

Profile

• ACA Qualification preferred

• Ideally 1-2 years PQE, will consider newly qualified depending on client experience

• Strong attention to detail

• Organisation skills

• Critical and analytical thinking

• Advanced IT and excel skills

• Excellent communication skills
