The Role Responsibilities
1) Support the Regional Head of BSM(Balance Sheet Management) to drive the RALCO(Regional ALCO) agenda as stated above.
2) Ensure all policies and procedures relating to RALCO and BSM are established and properly updated, including to maintain and update the regional Capital and Liquidity policies, the regional Balance Sheet Manual and RALCO ToR annually or as needed.
3) Ensure proper risk appetite framework, limits and MAT's are established and maintained:
  • Seek approval from relevant committees
  • Review and monitor all risk metrics (eg., capital, liquidity, IRRBB, credit risk)
  • Escalate any breach of regulatory or internal risk requirements to relevant committees
4) Prepare monthly Balance Sheet updates to regional and Group committees, including GCNARC, OBSC and GCLOF.
5) Review all daily and monthly regulatory returns for Liquidity and Capital reporting:
  • Work with HK LRR team to on board the daily and monthly run plans for consolidated LCR and NSFR reporting for GCNA
  • Perform daily and monthly review procedures to ensure the regulatory metrics are accurate
  • Work with HK LRR team to update any new rules into the calculation process
6) Assist in addressing internal and external queries (e.g., regulators, auditors, businesses, rating agencies).
7) Coordinate with HK BSM team and manage the regional Structural FX positions.
8) Work with HK RRP team to provide oversight of the RRP process for the region, including the setting and reporting of CSR indicators.
9) Monitor any new regulatory rules or internal policies impacting the Bank's capital and liquidity and inform RALCO.

· Strong understanding of Basel related capital and liquidity requirements.

· Strong analytical and organizational skills.

· E xperienced in balance sheet management or Finance function in the banking industry.

· Ability to lead and drive initiatives with a structured and focused approach.

· Effective team and senior stakeholder management skills and experience in an international environment.

· Ability to work independently and deliver results.
