Description

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for a range of activities in this highly diverse role which combines technical accounting and commercial exposure. You will be preparing month end figures in line with IFRS, the statutory accounts and be the principal point of contact for the year end audit; but as the Financial Accountant you will also be looking at contract accounting, allocating costs to various projects, prepare budgets and forecasts and conduct analysis of performance against these figures.

Profile

For this Financial Accountant role in Reading we're looking for a recently qualified candidate (ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified). The Financial Accountant will be reporting into the Group Finance Manager and will be presenting regularly to senior stakeholders so this person will need to be extremely confident presenting their findings. Previous experience in the an accountancy firm is highly advantageous but not a pre-requisite for this great role.
