On Offer

The role of Interim Accounts Payable Clerk is offering a salary of £20,000 - £22,000 including excellent benefits. Their offices are based on the outskirts of Edinburgh and are easily assessable via public transport with parking also available on site.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Management Accountant this role will involve processing high volumes of invoices and liaising with other areas of the business to ensure all information is accurate.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Management Accountant
  • Processing invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Processing expenses
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Dealing with purchase and supplier enquiries
  • Analyse monthly credit card statements
  • Journal entries
  • Working closely with other finance functions such as VAT, Financial Accounts etc.
  • Building relationships with internal & external stakeholders

To be considered for this role you will:
  • A minimum of 12 months practical purchase ledger/accounts payable experience
  • PC-literate with a good, working knowledge of Excel.
  • Able to work within a small team and as well as on your own in initiative
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication
