Completion Officers at Aldermore have helped our Residential Mortgages department to grow exponentially and develop a UK-wide reputation for traditional underwriting characterised by high quality service and excellent sector expertise. Our customers come to us either directly through our own team of mortgage brokers or through our relationships with selected mortgage brokers, so we can give each one, whether , home owner, individual landlord or portfolio landlord , a mortgage that fits their exact needs. The Role

We have an excellent opportunity for a Completions Officer to support mortgage applications from post offer through to completions, providing exceptional service to customers and intermediaries, making timely decisions and ensuring all offer and lending criteria is met.

Managing each application to ensure appropriate controls are in place, standard operating procedures are followed and any risk to the business or customer is understood and mitigated.

You will also be working with Aldermore partners, such as intermediaries, solicitors and valuers to ensure an efficient end to end process post offer that complies with all regulatory and CML requirements.

  • A good understanding of the mortgage application process, with experience of working with intermediaries, solicitors and direct customers.
  • Ability to flex to changing volumes and place of work.
  • Having a proactive and professional approach to drive the right first time outcome for the customer.
  • Delivering exceptional service to support a service led proposition, being a seamless continuation of the delivery through the underwriting process.
  • A knowledge and understanding of the mortgage market, including Owner Occupied, Buy-to-let and Specialist Buy-to-let.
