Our client who are a leading and worldwide brand employing more than 18,000 employees in over 120 countries worldwide are a global organisation that are recruiting for an Internal Auditor for their Risk & Compliance Team.
In this role, you will be required to conduct audits as per the Audit Plan. This role supports the EMEA region and you will be required to travel to Europe at least once a month.
Key responsibilities
You will assist with preparation of annual internal audit plans
Plan internal audit assignments
Conduct internal audits – test adequacy and effectiveness of controls
Report results of internal audits
Support relationship with J-SOX consultants
Conduct J-SOX audits
Report results of J-SOX audits
Involved in ad-hoc projects as requested.
Ideal candidates will need to be a degree holder ( either in Accounting & Finance, Business/ Management, Economics or Law) and ideally working towards an Audit or Finance qualification such as CIA or ACCA.
Candidates will need to have at least 1-2 yrs experience in internal audit, or J-SOX, SOX
Excellent interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic, “can do” attitude and the ability to be adaptable and flexible.
Willingness to learn (professionally and business knowledge)
Essential skills required for this role include but are not limited to the following:

• Quickly understand unfamiliar work environment

Technical skills: Advanced Excel skills are needed and SAP system skills is desirable.
