Commercial Accountant - £50,000 - £58,000 + Bonus + Benefits - Southampton, Hampshire & Newbury, Berkshire
FryerMiles is delighted to be partnering with a listed technology business in Newbury, who are recruiting for a Commercial Accountant. Our client is an established business who has achieve impressive growth year on year. As a UK market leader, they have recently expanded their operations into Europe following recent acquisitions and continue to grow.
The Commercial Accountant will report into the Business Unit Financial Controller and partner the management team. Your new role will require you to spend time within the business unit and Group Finance and advise on make recommendation on increase profitability. The Commercial Accountant will analyse revenue and margin data and present to senior management of the business unit and the senior finance team on profitability. You will be responsible for the calculation of sales commission plans, preparation of budgets and forecasts and analyse performance again budgets. This role will also include the preparation of monthly financial accounting and reporting to include the investigation of any variances., preparation of board reports and balance sheet reconciliations. As they continue to grow, this role will also include the review of processes and procedures and seek to make changes to improve controls. This position is extremely varied, and you will also be involved in ad hoc projects, commercial bid support and business case review.
Our client seeks ambitious finance professional who hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA), ideally having trained within practice. As this role involves extensive data analysis, you will demonstrate experience working with large data sets in Excel and be confident communication results. Our client works across a number of regions and this role will require regular travel between offices (mainly Newbury & Southampton)
