An opportunity has been created in this small and friendly office for a reliable and trustworthy Bookkeeper. Working in a team of 6 office staff the business boasts a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, along with excellent staff retention levels.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be given the autonomy to manage the day to day company finances, liaising with the external accountant at month and year end. It's an excellent opportunity for anyone that is looking to contribute to the smooth running of the accounts function.

Working from offices that are easily accessible the company boasts a relaxed working environment where everyone is given the opportunity to manage their own workload and daily tasks.

Your duties will include:

- Support the accountants in the production of VAT quarterly and annual returns
- Manage all financial transaction including payments, invoicing, petty cash and setting up credit
- Monitor transactions and interpreting financial cash flows and predicting future trends to ensure there is sufficient cash flow and that funds have been used appropriately
- To work closely with the Events Manager to keep sound financial records of the annual conference and other events
- Preparing the accounts for the external accountant
