Credit Controller - Northampton - temporary contract £19987 - £20962 - £10.25 - £10.75 per hour
We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to be instrumental in the credit and risk management for the company's sales ledger activity. The Credit Controller will chase customers for overdue debts, manage queries, resolve disputes and general administration associated with this role. As Credit Controller, you will control and reduce debt to set targets and maintain accurate and up to date client records.
The main duties of the Credit Controller's role are:
Being responsible for the effective, proactive and timely management and recovery of all accounts on their assigned ledger. Daily Collections activity completed via email, telephone and letter. Manage and escalate of ledger and invoice queries.
The ideal candidate will have excellent telephone and customer service skills with a calm and confident manner. Have a high attention to detail and a tenacious and persistent nature. As a Credit Controller, you would be able to develop, nurture and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers. Applicants should have previous credit control experience. The role is paying between £10.25 to £10.75 per hour dependent upon experience. The role is initially for a 9 month period, but this could be extended.
