SF Recruitment are currently an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join a well established and innovative business based in Nottingham City Centre on a permanent basis.
The role will report directly to the Finance Manager and will be part of a fast paced, dynamic and growing team.
Responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited too:
- Production and review of month end journals.
- Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts pack.
- Supporting with the analysis of business performance, reviewing of KPI's and providing relevant commentary to explain variances.
- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Assisting the accounts payable team with processing invoices and query resolution.
- Assisting the accounts receivable team on an ad hoc basis.
- Assisting with the preparation of information required for the year end statutory accounts.
- Building strong relationships with the operational and sales departments
- Liaising with other members of the Finance team to achieve the overall departmental objectives.
- Assisting with streamlining processes and reviewing financial controls.
- Any other adhoc duties as required to support the business
The ideal candidate will be an Accounting Graduate/AAT Qualified looking to or has started their ACCA/CIMA qualification, have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, be proficient in excel, professional, self motivated and have experience in a similar role within a finance team.
In return my client is looking at offering a salary of up to £26,000, Full Study Support with leave, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, contributory pension, retail discounts, cycle to work scheme, allocated parking space and much much more!
