Your new company
A progressive independent Chartered Accountancy Firm with several decades experience of offering a variety of services including Accounts, Audit, Taxation and Advisory has been experiencing further business growth, which has resulted in the requirement for a new Corporate Tax Senior or Assistant Manager within their Glasgow office. As an award-winning organisation with a wide range of clients, from individuals, family businesses and large corporations, this is an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Tax Professional to gain a breadth of experience.

Your new role
Working closely with the Tax Partner and Tax Manager, the purpose of the successful individual is to maintain a portfolio of Corporate Tax Clients, ensuring deadlines for reporting and compliance are met, and the smooth progression of each specific job. You will be responsible, and a key point of contact, for both local and international clients. Daily responsibilities will include submitting and reviewing Corporation Tax computations and returns, completing and reviewing Tax accounting disclosures, Tax audit review work, Tax advisory and planning, and manage and develop client relationships. Further to this, you will develop specific tax technical skills in areas such as Capital Allowances, R&D tax credits, and dealing with HMRC and international Tax services.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Tax Senior or Assistant Manager with particular knowledge of Corporation Tax, and a proven track record in a practice firm or multinational industry organisation. You will be ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW or CTA (part-)qualified, with the wish to develop your expertise and career. You will have excellent communication and client engagement skills.

What you'll get in return
The job will pay a competitive salary, and allow the right candidate the opportunity to build upon their experience, working closely with the Partner. The firm boasts flexible working arrangements, an approachable working environment, and a "promote from within" mentality. Further benefits include 23 days public holidays in addition to public holidays, healthcare, life insurance and contributory pension.
