The CGT Analyst will be a critical appointment and therefore we are keen to speak to high-calibre individuals with Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions experience.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Processing stock notifications and issuing relevant event information to Front Office
- Collation and processing of client elections within market deadlines
- Processing outturns of stock and cash to client portfolios ensuring CGT is taken into account.
- Investigation and resolution of stock and cash breaks
- Assist team with the completion of statistics and daily tasks associated with Corporate Action functions and requirements, including regular liaison with Investment Front Office for remediation and query resolution.
- Assist with the bi-annual review of liquidations for tax pack purposes.
Background of the Position:
- Significant settlement operations experience gained within financial services
- Corporate Action including new issues experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, MS Outlook)
- Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders across the business
- Excellent organisational and administration skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel
- Strong Interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences
- Enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude
