Meraki Talent’s industry leading Investment client are looking for a CGT to join a busy Investment team going through a period of growth.

The CGT Analyst will be a critical appointment and therefore we are keen to speak to high-calibre individuals with Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions experience.

Responsibilities of the Position:
  • Processing stock notifications and issuing relevant event information to Front Office
  • Collation and processing of client elections within market deadlines
  • Processing outturns of stock and cash to client portfolios ensuring CGT is taken into account.
  • Investigation and resolution of stock and cash breaks
  • Assist team with the completion of statistics and daily tasks associated with Corporate Action functions and requirements, including regular liaison with Investment Front Office for remediation and query resolution.
  • Assist with the bi-annual review of liquidations for tax pack purposes.

Background of the Position:
  • Significant settlement operations experience gained within financial services
  • Corporate Action including new issues experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders across the business
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel
  • Strong Interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences
  • Enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude
