Reed Finance are partnering with a well-know Financial Services business in the search for an FP&A Manager. You will deliver insightful and focussed financial analysis for the Corporate Plan, quarterly reforecasts and month end income review to senior management and executive committees. This is a highly visible role across the across the organisation and will provide you with excellent career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities:

- For the Corporate Plan and other forecast activity, lead the production of robust and accurate financial plans, along with insightful analysis. Proactively identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate production processes. Effectively prioritise a diverse range of activities to ensure they are completed to the required deadlines.

- Develop an effective network of stakeholders across the business to drive commercial thinking and cross functional working. Proactively identify ways in which the team’s outputs and techniques can help other areas of the Group.

- Collaborate effectively with other teams and functions across the business to ensure the production of revised financial projections based on latest forecast. Anticipate challenges, threats and opportunities to the current Financial Plan with the aim of optimising the Group’s financial position.

- Proactively develop reporting techniques to communicate the results of financial plans and monthly performance. Articulate complex messages in a clear and concise manner, including the development of storyboards to inform strategic thinking.

- In conjunction with the Balance Sheet Management function, play an instrumental role in balance sheet shaping for the Plan and as well as modelling sensitivities on the Plan and forecasts.

- Lead the review of financial models currently used in the planning and forecasting processes and produce balanced recommendations for the future approach.

Experience required:

- Accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)

- Highly numerate, intellectually strong and capable of digesting and interpreting technical information.

- Rigorous, methodical and well organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadline

- Strong commercial acumen

- Identifies and delivers process improvement and positive change

- Able to identify and address key risks/implications

- Able to manage their own workload to ensure that activities are correctly prioritised and that all interested parties are aware of responsibilities, deadlines and progress

- Detailed knowledge of the main Microsoft applications and the current MI / finance systems utilised by the business

- Able to review, manage and develop new financial and analytical models

- Possess knowledge of management and financial accounting principles and be well-versed in approaches and techniques.

- Evidence of professional learning and development to build and maintain skills and expertise
