The candidate, as an analyst within the PMG COO Data, Model & Analytics team will play a critical role in supporting the PMG 4.0 Data Strategy through excellence as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Product risk Rating.It is critical that clients are sold the appropriate investment products aligned with their investment and risk profile. An important input to assess the suitability of a client against the investment is the Product Risk Rating (PRR).
As such, the ultimate objective of the candidate is to ensure that the PRR numbers are understood and produced accurately to achieve excellence in the PMG 4.0 Data Strategy.

Description
The candidate, as an analyst within the PMG COO Data, Model & Analytics team will play a critical role in supporting the PMG 4.0 Data Strategy through excellence as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Product risk Rating.It is critical that clients are sold the appropriate investment products aligned with their investment and risk profile. An important input to assess the suitability of a client against the investment is the Product Risk Rating (PRR).
As such, the ultimate objective of the candidate is to ensure that the PRR numbers are understood and produced accurately to achieve excellence in the PMG 4.0 Data Strategy.
On top of being the SME, the main responsibility of the candidate will include:
- Production of the PRR catalogue though integration of data from various sources on a daily basis.
- Analyze and communicate any PRR downgrades which impacts suitability.
- Take ownership of the tools (i.e. VBA Marcos) used in the production of the PRR catalogue and downgrade report through continuous partnership with IT.
- Work with risk team to ensure PRR methodology complies with the latest regulations and that our tools are equipped to manage any change.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of Product/Business Analyst experience in Private Banking
- Good product knowledge
- Programming experience (Macros, Python or R and SQL)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capability
- Passion to drive and change the process
- Independent and able to multi task and meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders
