THE COMPANY

My client is a leading financial institution globally. They offer a full range of products and services such as sponsoring and underwriting, financial advisory, corporate mergers and acquisitions and restructuring across Hong Kong, Greater China and Asia Pacific. They are now looking for a Manager for their finance team.

THE ROLE

Report to the team head, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in general ledger maintenance for the securities brokerage business
  • Reviewing workflow processes
  • Preparing daily monitoring of the compliance with Financial Resources Rules
  • Access the effect of new accounting standards
  • Assisting in accounting control and analysis;
  • Handling financial reporting and analyses for all overseas offices;
  • Handling external auditors and regulators;
  • Assisting in ad hoc project such as system enhancement;


THE REQUIREMENTS

  • University graduated in Finance, Business Administration or relevant disciplines.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience gained from asset management firms/ Financial Institutions/ Big 4.
  • Mature, self-motivated, detail-minded and strong problem solving skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Candidates who has less experience will consider as an assistant manager grade.
