Working Hours: 8.45 -5.30 Monday to Thursday. 8.45 - 3.55pm Friday

Our rapid growth has created a number of opportunities in our high volume Accounts Receivable team within our Finance Department.

Previous experience within a similar role would be an advantage but above all we are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals with a want to, can do and will do attitude to their career.

As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for chasing outstanding invoices to the company and therefore will play a vital role in the cash-flow of the organisation.

Dealing with Business owners and managers, you will need to have excellent verbal skills, be at least computer literate in Excel & Word but above all, articulate, numerate and be able to think on your feet.

If you come from a sales or account management background we will be equally interested in what you could bring to this fast paced, results driven role.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Collection of Debtors
  • Allocation of receipts to debtor accounts
  • Processing and generating reminder letters and statements
  • Liaising with the sales and accounts receivable teams to resolve outstanding queries
  • Ensuring that all major accounts work to agreed order to cash cycle
  • Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices
  • Working and achieving monthly and annually collections targets
  • Resolve queries on client accounts in a timely manner to maximise payment of outstanding debts

Requirements of the candidate
  • Previous experience in similar role would be an advantage
  • Hardworking and reliable
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Articulate, numerate and have the ability to think on their feet
  • Computer Literate in Excel & Word
  • Knowledge of Sage Line 200 would be an advantage
  • Ability to work within a team and individually
