Our client is a market leader with a prized reputation. An exciting role has opened for a Head of Finance to join their organisation. Your role will be to provide knowledge and support to allow the company to improve their financial analysis, financial reporting, financial controls, financial processes and product costings. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant who is commercially experienced and who has a proven history of establishing and monitoring financial controls and procedures. Experience within, and understanding of, the manufacturing industry would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities:
- Heading up the improvement of the company’s financial analysis, financial reporting, financial controls, financial processes and product costings
- The production of timely and accurate reports to help in the analysis of business performance
- Preparation of regular forecasts and budgeting
- Calculation of costs to support on business price structures
- Provision of recommendations for continuous improvement
- Ensuring compliance with financial controls and other regulations
- On occasion to provide support overseas
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
- Education to degree level
- Thorough specialist knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Costing knowledge
- Ability to communicate complex data analysis to individuals with a range of understandings
- Commercially experienced with board presentation experience
