The Finance Manager will be based out of their new depot in Coventry and will oversee all aspects of finance for that site.
The role will be getting involved with all divisions across the depot and will be highly engaging.
Client Details
Michael Page Finance are currently partnering with a driven logistics business based in Coventry. They hold a number of key contracts including many large high-street retailers and FMCG businesses.
The company is part of a wider business with a turnover in excess of £1.1 billion. Their distribution faction has an annual turnover of around £100m and is expanding to different regions in order to accommodate for its rigid growth strategy.
Description
The role will entail traditional responsibilities of what is expected fro a Finance Manager. This individuals will oversee all aspects of finance for the Coventry site and will report into the Head of Operational Finance.
Flash reports on a weekly basis.
Completion of month end procedures.
Working alongside the operational transport teams and engaging with open-book contracts.
Involvement in securing new business for the company.
Work closely with Route Planners and ensure all that all new business strategies are understood.
Profile
The successful candidate will be a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant with experience working alongside different areas of a business.
Have experience of working within a commercially minded business with a pragmatic approach to work.
Academic record.
Job Offer
