Citizens Advice Liverpool is recruiting an experienced Finance Manager to work in a busy multi–site service.

To meet the demands of this challenging yet rewarding role, you will need to be committed, enthusiastic and flexible and hold a recognised qualification in Accountancy, or actively working towards same.

You will support our financial management and reporting requirements by producing accounting reports in QuickBooks, interpreting the data and ensuring that the revenue and costs are complete and accurate each month.

You will work closely with our Chief Officer, Treasurer, service managers and our Trustee Board. You will prepare our annual budgets and develop costings for new bids.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and persistence in problem–solving, in addition to recent and ongoing experience of;

Providing a full financial management service in a charity or similar organisation, with experience of meeting deadlines and setting priorities

Drafting management information, and meaningful reporting of variances to Treasurer/Trustee Board

Budgeting, particularly project–by–project and contributing to the budgeting processes across an organisation.

Strong analytical skills and an ability to input and interpret complex data using IT systems.
