Origin Consultants Pvt. Ltd. has been retained by a Leading Indian Brand of Consumer Products to identify a Finance Controller for their Writing Instruments Division to be based at their Corporate Headquarters in Mumbai, India.
Job Description
The position of the Finance Controller, is envisaged for a broader role which may not be limited to the responsibilities listed below:

• Put together the Financial Statements for all the legal entities, completing the statutory audit within the agreed timelines
• Anchor the tax audit, along with the completion of all related formalities for the entities
• Implementation of IFRS for the legal entities in financial year 2017-18
• Implementation and Maintenance of Internal Financial Control for all the legal entities in the organization
• Monthly reporting of the consolidated financials to the group internally
• Design and Maintain system and processes to ensure compliant and correct financial statements
• Ensure completion of internal audits with the external auditors and closure of all the agreed actions
• Completion of the financial statements along with the audit, ensuring the adequate internal control for financial entries and compliance with the relevant statutes including direct and Indirect taxes

Desired Candidate Profile

• CA, CPA, CMA with 10 to 12 years of work experience in the Finance function of reputed organizations.
• Demonstrated competence and experience in implementing and managing rigorous, disciplined financial controls and financial management systems.
• A strong compliance & controller capability with accounting knowledge and experience in implementing of accounting principles, objectives and policies
• Strong Analytical skills, as well as communication skills, both oral and written
