Your new role
Reporting directly to the finance manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Monthly reconciliations of general ledger and balance sheet
- Month end journals
- Monthly reporting and processes
- Management accounting support
- Supporting statutory reporting
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar role under Australian rules and legislation
- Industry experience in manufacturing or similar
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or commerce
- Studying toward CPA or part-qualified
- Intermediate Excel Skills (pivot tables, vlook ups at a minimum)
- Strong systems background, able to pick up new systems easily
- Able to work autonomously with limited guidance
- Ability to prioritise, adaptable, team player
