Financial Accountant

A global manufacturing business based in Deeside is recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their growing accountancy function on a long term temporary basis.

Client Details

This business has a strong presence Globally, and is growing at a solid rate. Having recently had substantial investment into new product lines, equipment and technologies, they are on the cusp of significantly increasing their profit margins.

Description

Key duties will include:

• Raising of manual payments through electronic banking
• Review cash forecast submissions from subsidiaries
• Intercompany loan entries/reconciliation
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Multi-currency intercompany trade netting settlement
• Bank account administration e.g. signatory maintenance
• Month end reporting and reconciliation
• Resolve banking queries
• Answer queries from other departments regarding treasury-related activities
• Assist with global liquidity management, ensuring no deficits

Profile

The successful applicant for this Financial Accountant role must have the following:

• Part qualified (ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience with a focus on progressing and learning
• Demonstrable experience of process improvement and adding value
• Able to manage their time within a pressured environment
• Strong influencing skill
• Advanced Excel skill
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi task
• Be available immediately or at short notice

• £30,000-35,000 basic salary
