My client is a US organisation who has a UK turnover of c£70m, the Group FD is looking for a solid No.2 to guide and steer Group accounting and reporting. This is a nicely rounded No.2 role which will give you responsibility for reporting and FP&A whilst leading a team of 11

Description
* Effectively manage, motivate and develop the Finance department
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Group's accounting records and financial systems under UK GAAP and US GAAP
* Production of statutory accounts for the Group and its various subsidiary companies in accordance with the relevant accounting principles
* Review and update, in line with best practice, the Group's internal control environment and produce a Controls and Procedures manual for review and adoption by management
* Responsible for the management accounts for all trading entities
* Responsible for purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll and cash management.
* Contribute to budget and forecasting with the provision of reliable financial and non-financial information
* Work with the on site directors to produce month-end packs that enable them to influence the profitability of the business going forward.
Profile
- ACA/ICAS, ACCA or CIMA qualfied
- Experience of working within a Group
- Experience of working for a US business
- Strong technical ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and motivate finance and non-finance
