Project Accountant - 6 months

As Project Accountant you will be a key member of the Finance team, taking responsibility for supporting the development and integration of a major project within the organisation.

This is a 6 month project role and a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in a key team within the organisation.

Description

As Project Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring Finance reporting, controlling and process systems are developed, integrated, maintained and documented to ensure the successful delivery of the current programme.

Specifically, you will be involved in:

• The development of financial reporting, MI, control, analysis and payment services
• Supporting project accounting, benefit tracking, monthly and year-end analytics and reporting for statutory reporting and external audit
• Challenging the finance teams on business requirements, process design and efficiency improvements
• Driving system development, implementation and change to deliver process improvement and enhanced MI

Profile

My client is looking for a Qualified Accountant with experience in a project / change environment. Ideally you will have experience of working in a larger organisation and be competent in using various financial systems.

Job Offer

Up to £45,000 dependent on experience
