We Offer
  • Control function reporting to the Board of Directors Risk Committee, that provides timely assessments of Credit Suisse's credit exposures and practices related to the management of credit risk. Independent of Front Office (1LOD) and Credit Risk Management (2LOD).
  • This is a Singapore based role within the Credit Risk Review APAC team. CRR APAC is part of a high-performing global team (US, UK, Switzerland and Singapore).
  • Execution of review program for all credit portfolios in APAC through a combination of Cycled Review, Continuous Monitoring and Targeted Review activities in order to evaluate the quality and transparency of the underwriting practices, credit analysis and ratings assigned by the Bank for regulatory and capital purposes
  • Evaluation of activities of credit origination and transaction support personnel in Credit Risk Management (CRM) and Front Office (FO)
  • Understand the APAC credit risk profile, is within risk appetite and reflective of current market conditions and concerns
  • Identification of credit exposures with potential credit weakness and any relevant trends that may affect timely repayment
  • Identification of portfolio trends at the sector/industry level and provision of an objective assessment of the APAC credit portfolio to senior management and the Board
  • Work closely with CRM, FO, Internal Audit, CRR teams globally and other functions as necessary
  • Assist in formulating findings and recommendations to improve credit risk management practices

You Offer
  • You possess 3-5 years of experience in credit risk analysis with a major bank, rating agency or investment management firm.
  • You have comprehensive understanding of Credit Ratings and Transaction Ratings.
  • You come with deep knowledge of Private Banking and/or Investment Banking products.
  • You exhibit deep understanding of banking regulations and counterparty. Credit risk will be an advantage.
  • You gained a Graduate Degree in a relevant field of study.
  • You demonstrate strong negotiation and solution oriented skills.
  • You have very good oral and written communication skills.
  • You show the ability to handle a significant and diverse workload.
  • You have the capability to accept accountability and demonstrate initiative.
  • You have a partnership mentality.
