Pricing Analyst

This role involves creating and capturing value using innovative pricing strategies. You will be working closely with the sales & commercial managers, creating and executing pricing strategies that ensure improvements in profitability.

Description

• Create and execute pricing strategies, using modern pricing strategies and techniques to capture value opportunity, reduce loss and expand into new markets
• Involved in negotiations with customers
• Implement and sustain a pricing committee, review pricing processes, models and tools by assigned business segment and channel
• Track performance and value capture, anticipating and reacting to market changes.

Profile

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (economics, business, finance) with preference for a focus in statistics and analytics
• Considerable knowledge of activity based costing
• An analytical mindset and comfortable with complex financials
• Details orientated able to assess information for accuracy and relevance
• Strong computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel and SAP
• Able to work effectively with other colleagues and on own initiative
