Finance Business Analyst

Position: Finance Business AnalystLocation: LiverpoolSalary: £25,000 DOEHours: Monday - Friday, 8:45am-5:00pmContract: 12 Month Fixed TermAdecco are excited to be working with an extremely high profile client who is looking to recruit a highly motivated Finance Business Analyst for a fixed term contract of 12 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a dedicated company with over 150 years of experience delivering quality products, securing itself as a household name in all shops and supermarkets.About the role:The job will require working within a team to maintain and develop all existing IT systems that support financial services within the company as well as supporting their wider group when necessary.Main responsibilities include:*Group Essbase 1st line support for the UK and Europe*End of month administration for all countries*Create, amend and delete calculation scripts as per user requests*Maintain user accounts*Financial support within Microsoft Navision*Full IT related financial support for Microsoft Navision on a daily basis across the group*Monitor and track support issues*Liaise with all IT managers and project owners to capture, update and track all IT budgets across the group*Support all financial reporting used in the Business Intelligence platform*Ensure that the business is in a position to view up to date daily sales without issue*Provide assistance to Finance IT lead within global SAP project when requiredThe ideal candidate will be from a financial background within an analytical capacity, and will also possess the following experience and qualities:*Experience in Essbase or a similar Financial Reporting system is highly advantageous *Must possess a recognised Finance qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)*Experience in Navision or Microsoft Dynamics is desirable *Advanced Microsoft Excel skills*A strong level of motivation and initiative*Excellent verbal and written communication*Willingness and ability to learn quickly*Good organisational and documenting skills *Ability to solve problems quickly*Availability for occasional travel to other sites*Must be flexible for occasional out of hours work This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a company with a wealth of knowledge and experience in their field.
