The client is a large care company with a major office in York. With an excellent reputation in their field this is a brilliant opportunity for a finance analyst to join a growing, talented accountancy and finance team reporting into a brilliant FC.

Description

As a Finance Analyst you will be reporting into the FC, your duties will include, however are not limited to: developing and running periodic reporting; tracking and analysing financial performance versus expectation through a variety of lenses; supporting financial performance reviews with the operations, commercial and property teams; supporting the month end process; supporting the financial budgeting and forecasting processes; and other ad hoc financial support to aid the smooth running and development of the finance team, the role holder will also support in tracking and reviewing the impact of key operational initiatives to ensure they are delivering in line with expectations. As well as developing financial solutions and processes appropriate to take the business forward.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be studying towards an accounting qualification - Essential
• Have worked in an accounts role previously - Essential
• Have strong excel skills - Essential
• Be comfortable presenting reports to senior management - Essential
