Accountant (contract role) - Japanese language is a must

A new team has been established in Hong Kong to deliver value added financial services in an efficient and effective way to enhance the company's growth as well as to enable the Finance function to support other commercial activities.

Client Details

Our client is a listed MNC with an expanding business in Asia Pacific region. To support their development plan in the region, they are now inviting a seasoned finance professional to join their regional team in Hong Kong.

Description

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the incumbent will be responsible for all the daily accounting activities of the company, including AP, AR, GL, month-end closing, etc for the APAC region. You will work closely with different business units to ensure the financial accounting function of the group is operating effectively and efficiently. You will monitor internal control process and ensure compliance of group policies and local regulations.

Profile

You will be a qualified accountant with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably gained from sizable MNCs. Japanese language is a must. A proven track record and strong interpersonal skills is essential to excel in this role. You should be a mature individual who is able to perform consistently under pressure.
