Local fashion brand based in the Bedford area are on the lookout for a progressive payroll admin to join the team.

Our client are a well renowned fashion brand in the Bedford area.
Description
Payroll Admin Responsibilities:
- Reviewing payrolls for accuracy and highlighting any errors for correction by payroll administrators
- Send reports and payslips to clients
- HMRC administration - downloading tax and student loan notices and filing in relevant payroll files, downloading generic notifications and liaising with HMRC where required.
- Monitoring company payrolls to ensure timely processing and filing of RTI returns.
- Invoicing - production of invoice after checking for accuracy
- Real Time Information (RTI) submissions - producing electronic file and submitting to HMRC
- Monitoring whether auto enrolment submissions have been sent
- Tax Year End administration
- Pension returns
- Set up of client files, ensuring all details are correct
Profile
Payroll Admin Requirements:
- Previous payroll experience is required, ideally knowledge of end to end payroll
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Maintaining the strictest levels of confidentiality at all times
- Excellent time management skills and multi-tasking are required to ensure strict deadlines are met
- Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and an ability to place work into the bigger context of HR/payroll best practice and the business is essential
- A proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to communicate clearly and in a professional, courteous manner both verbally and in writing
- Capable of working under minimal supervision and able to organise and manage own workload
