We have multiple roles from Manager to Analyst within our Technology Audit function in Sydney. This is an excellent career opportunity for a technology risk, cyber, or audit professional looking to gain exposure across a broad range of business areas in which Macquarie operates, alongside opportunities to specialise in infrastructure, emerging technology and cyber security.
As a member of the team, you will be involved in planning and establishing audit objectives, delivery and reporting of audits. You will identify and apply professional standards and regulatory requirements for technology and cyber risk, across the Group. You will have an opportunity to design and implement new audit methodologies for technology and cyber security.
You will identify key technology management controls for testing, work collaboratively with our team to determine test strategies before executing them. Through the tests, you will identify control weaknesses, share insights on areas of improvement, prepare audit reports for the Board Audit Committee and senior management, and track the resolution of issues.
If you are a technology risk professional with a background in internal or external audit, risk management, information systems or operations, this is an exciting career opportunity. It will offer you a platform to build on your knowledge of IT standards and key regulations in an organisation that facilitates career development and growth. Having excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels will be essential and qualifications in information systems, operations or accounting are highly regarded (e.g. CISA, CA, CISM, CISSP).
Risk Management Group is an independent, centralised unit responsible for ensuring all risk across Macquarie are appropriately assessed and managed. Its divisions include Credit, Prudential, Capital and Markets, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance, Quantitative Applications and Internal Audit.
