We are working in partnership with a well known financial services business in Liverpool city centre to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their accountancy function.

Description
This Financial Accountant position is based around gathering, validating and reporting financial information to internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that all reports are produced in a timely and accurate manner. Key deliverables cover IFRS, solvency and regulatory reporting. Your day to day duties will include:
- Assist in the financial reporting production ensuring all the information provided is accurate and within internal/external regulatory reporting requirements
Working collaboratively across the wider finance team and business, as well as working across a number of European countries with different accounting standards

- Managing internal finance and business stakeholders to ascertain and meet their requirements
- Ensuring consistency, reliability and efficiency of information collection, validation and aggregation processes, across multiple internal and/or external sources
- Looking at ways to increase service levels, and improve operational effectiveness through process, technology and people development
Profile
The successul applicant must have the following skills and experience to be considered for this Financial Accountant role:
- Part qualified and actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Relevant experience in a complex financial reporting environment
- Ideally a large company background
- Strong technical accounting understanding and financial control knowledge
- Strong analytical skills with excellent communication
