With their Australian head office based in Melbourne's East, a new role has been created for a Commercial Finance Manager to join the team

Description

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will form an integral part of the local operations as well as running the commercial finance for a multinational business outside of Australia. Managing an accounting team , you will provide the business with timely and meaningful reports, analysis and commentary as well as business partner with the manufacturing GM, Sales and Marketing. More specifically, your key deliverable duties will include:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely submission of regional reporting requirements
  • Preparation of profit and loss and balance sheet forecasts
  • Driving a detailed and rigorous annual budgeting process
  • Provision of meaningful financial and non-financial information across the business
  • Working closely with operational leaders and site managers to grow the business
  • Working with the management team to produce the yearly strategic plan
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and executing them accordingly

Profile

CA/CPA qualified, you will be an ambitious, well communicated and organised individual with previous exposure working in a manufacturing or FMCG/Retail environment.

You will have managed a team previously and have an in-depth and thorough understanding of internal controls and reporting requirements and must be comfortable working within strict deadlines. You will be an exceptional communicator who is comfortable building strong relationships with non-financial stakeholders and must be able to exert influence across the organisation. Advanced excel skills are a must have to excel in this highly rewarding and challenging role.
