Description
The main responsibilities for this Management Accountant role based in Ulverston are as follows:
- Full management accounts preparation, preparing the accounts up to trial balance
- Multi-currency accounting
- Variance analysis
- Providing insightful analysis to key, senior stakeholders
- Pushing for cost improvements, use of standard costing techniques
- Multi-currency accounting
- Point of contact for tax and audit
- Inventory control
- Supporting the Accounts Assistant
- Working as part of a lean, close knit team
Profile
The successful candidate for this Ulverston based Management Accountant role will be:
- A qualified accountant or qualified by experience
- Ideally come with some prior experience of working in the manufacturing sector
- A confident communicator, able to work with finance and none finance stakeholders alike
- A competent accountant able to work at pace, in a subsidiary of a larger corporation - able to work to tight deadlines
- Able to interpret the accounts, and add value to the business
- Able to provide ideas for process improvements and ways to influence change
Job Offer
This Ulverston based Management Accountant role can offer a salary of £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience.
