My client are a growing Financial Services company based in the heart of Hemel Hempstead. They are going through a period of growth and are therefore seeking a Payroll Team Leader to join them on a permanent basis and manage a team of 4 and deal with queries. This is a varied Senior role with great exposure, paying a competitive salary of up to £30,000 with great benefits.

Description

• Managing a team of 4 Payroll clerks
• Conducting 1-1s and motivating and training staff members
• Working as the first point of contact in the delivery centres for Client HR Representative in a Managed Services delivery model
• Managing the escalation process
• Working as the first escalation level for Tier 1 agent in a Comprehensive Services delivery Model
• Responding to complex HR and labour legislation questions
• Analysing and solving client's questions, problems and / or requests efficiently and effectively
• Produces and supplies regular and on-demand payroll reports and statistical information according to the agreed services
  
  
  

Profile

• Experience in Payroll as a Manager/Team Leader is essential
• Living local to Hemel
• Good analytical skills
• Good communicator and customer oriented - to be able to identify and understand the customer's needs.
• Results oriented - to be able to achieve targets aligned with business goals
• Ability to work under pressure, remains calm, objective and controlled in responding to urgent or demanding situations
• Maintains effective performance under pressure
