An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst that is at the final stages of their Accountancy qualification or who is newly qualified. The Role The position of Finance Analyst is a highly commercial role working with the key internal & external stakeholders of the business to provide valuable insight. The successful candidate must be analytically minded, diligent and have the ability to business partner within non-financial stakeholders including senior management. On Offer The role of Finance Analyst will offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Their offices are based in Edinburgh city centre and easily accessible via public transport. You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties: Producing and presenting monthly & quarterly reporting packsLeading high value & business critical projectsBudget setting & monitoringShort, medium and long-term forecastingFinance business partnering within non-financial stakeholdersBuilding, updating and maintaining financial modelsBespoke reports for senior managementBuilding and developing relationships with internal & external stakeholdersAd hoc duties To be considered for this role you have the following skills/experience: Ideally be a newly qualified or finalist Accountant - ACCA/ICAS/ICAEW/CIMA (or equivalent)Strong analytical and forecasting skills including reviewing balance sheets and reconciliationsExperience of business partnering within non-financial stakeholders would be advantageous but not essentialAdvanced user of ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skills Please do not hesitate contact Lewis Cavanagh at the Edinburgh Office for a private & confidential discussion.
