Business Analyst Central London £50,000 - £55,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join a vibrant team. Ideally you will have an interest in the energy markets to track the economics of projects. The successful Business Analyst will be a hard-working professional who is comfortable working in a flexible and dynamic environment. Interpersonal skills are paramount. Communication skills are also important as you will need to liaise with site operators and customers about billing queries, and deal with them promptly. Responsibilities: Processing half hourly electricity data and daily gas data into billing data, for all our sites monthly.Timely execution of billing information, including challenging the utility companies about their billing data.Extracting information from our operational systems, and an interest in working with IT developers to improve our billing systemsPreparation of project budgets/forecastsTo assist with the preparation of audit deliverables for external project and statutory audits.Monitoring and analysis of project costs, and making sure projects stay on track with regards spend and levels of profitabilityAnalysing trends from building management system (BMS) data or engine control data, to identify improvements and preventative maintenance.Produce regular updates for the team of operational and financial performance of assets and identify improvementsComputer literacy required - MS Office essential, especially Excel. Ability to write macros a definite plus.
