Assistant Accountant

Permanent Assistant Accountant Vacancy in Bolton (£22.000 - £25.000) Including full study support. Your new companyBased in Bolton this well established organisation are actively seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team of 5 in accounts on a permanent basis.Your new role* To assist in preparation of monthly Management Accounts to achieve 8 working days deadline.* Maintaining and updating the Fixed Asset Register * To reconcile and journal the work in progress and stock accounts.* To reconcile the Vat excess account.* To reconcile the Payment accounts and release any money relating to sold units.* To produce monthly prepayments.* To produce a bank reconciliation.* To reconcile the intercompany account on a monthly basis.* To provide holiday cover for all functions of a busy accounts department. * To deputise in the absence of the accountant.* Ensure Company adhering to Manufacturer Guidelines on Audit Policy and Procedures.* Perform monthly stock check to company procedures.* Advises the Accountant of any discrepancies or other problems encountered.
