An exciting position as a Management Accountant for a Media Company based in central London.
Client Details
My Client is a leading Media company based in Central London.
Description
The Management Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Production of Monthly Management Accounts
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Assist with producing and issuing departmental profit reports
- Calculation and processing Deferred Revenue Adjustments
- Reconciliation of Inter company Accounts and elimination of inter company sales/purchases on board pack
- Review of Quarterly VAT returns
- Oversee month end reconciliation
- Month end stock reconciliation and accrual
- Analysis of actual costs vs budget and variance commentaries
- Assist with preparation of year end audit
- Reviewing journals and other work of junior accounts staff
- Manage and develop the Senior & Junior Accounts Assistants
- Develop and maintain key working relationships with Project Management, Sales & Billing departments to minimise inefficiencies with the flow of information between departments.
- Update Board Pack with working capital data
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc project work
Profile
The successful candidate would ideally have:
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role
- Be Part qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Experience in supervising Junior staff
- Able to work collaboratively with directors and other non-finance stakeholders
- Sage 200 experience
Job Offer
A competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 plus benefits.
