A varied and challenging analytical role with a successful SME based in Dereham. Your new companyOur client is a successful and growing niche business based in Dereham. Your new roleReporting to the Financial Controller the purpose of this role is to facilitate the continued development and implementation of processes for producing analytical reporting and communication of business performance (revenue, profitability, cost analysis and other KPIs) and provide engagement with financial and non-financial management across the business.Key responsibilities include: Performance of regular daily and weekly financial reporting as part of the current and future reporting suites, reconciling to the general ledger.Maintenance and continuous review of the robustness of reporting tools, updating for new product lines, regions, categorisations and system changes as appropriate.To identify missings and weaknesses in the current reporting suite, and provide continued development and implementation of additional reporting across the business.Ad-hoc analysis of performance, including project profitability, cost analysis etc.To understand and analyse the key performance indicators of the business, and identify and communicate risks where appropriate.Support the business in development of pricing strategies and other commercial propositions, both of one-off project or medium to long term nature.To undertake regular competitor and market analysis.To support in development of presentation packs for use in internal and external stakeholder meetings where required.Establishing and building of relationships with senior commercial managers and leadership team, and subsequently evolve business strategies for maximising revenue and profitability.Support in the continued positioning of the finance function as a core service centre within the business.Management, development and chasing up of the completion of weekly forecasting packs.Supporting the Finance Director and Financial Controller in completion of annual budget and forecasting cycle as appropriate.
